In a “Board Information” message, the Publicity Committee of Cheese & Dairy told its patrons why it was cancelling its marketing agreement with County Creamery. The nine reasons were the same reasons cited by Red Clover in its own notice of cancellation to County Creamery. The reasons included: loss of representation; unfair charges; lack of a written agreement of joint-use facilities; bookkeeping errors; interference by County Creamery; refusal by County Creamery to accept a judge’s ruling; County Creamery’s use of Grade A milk in loan, discount and advertising schemes; County Creamery’s board’s disregard of responsibilities; Beale Dixon’s actions that took over the rights and duties of Cheese & Dairy’s board.
